Thanks to all
who stay ready to plant
ready to love, ready to live
ready to dream, ready for Spring.

This Is Spring In My Heart"

The pictures below prompted Diane Czajkowski to write about spring in Windsor Park.

If you have a minute, please look at the pictures taken on April 16, 2007 during the nor'easter. Then, read Diane's poem.

In a garden one finds the beauty of nature, the quiet of the forest, the symphony of the birds, the sounds of rushing water, and the gentleness, kindness, understanding and good will that gardeners experience when they are down on their knees covered with dirt working their gardens.

Diane Grant Czajkowski sent us her poem last week. It was her reaction to pictures of Windsor Park taken during the April 16 nor’easter.

"This Is Spring In My Heart"

I liked how you brought me in showing me one angel with a vision of imagining.
Then you showed me the multitude and
then you just about brought tears to my eyes
when you showed the whole reason why by
decorating them all with the presence of the flag.

Many have died to keep those stripes alive.
An empty bench sits at rest, but not in desolation,
But instead it's an invitation to live and
make the future be full of hope and life to the fullest.

Knowing that our freedom stands and
we have a place to sit together.
God has a way of making our hearts new
no matter what we go through.

Thanks to all
who keep the love
and keep the dream
in a warm place in the heart.

Thanks to all
who stay ready to plant
ready to love, ready to live
ready to dream, ready for Spring.
