The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving. Albert Einstein
There are some things in life that become a part of your heart and soul. It doesn’t happen often. It doesn't happen quickly. It doesn't happen without struggle, hard work and the generosity of others, but when it happens, it transforms your world giving your life meaning, opportunity and purpose.

On this special evening, Kitch and I were making our way to the college to attend the thirty-seventh annual President’s Dinner.

The Max Rosenn Lecture Series in Law and Humanities is one of the most special events of the year.
This year was no exception.
The guest speaker, Richard E. Leakey, is a paleoanthropologist, conservationist and activist.
On this evening he would honor the memory of the venerable Judge Max Rosenn with a discussion of “Humanity: The Past and Future of Climate Change.”
The evening began with a wonderful reception and dinner at the Wilkes University Student Center. The evening began with a wonderful reception and dinner at the Wilkes University Student Center.

Willie Nelson sang it best:
On the road again Just can't wait to get on the road again The life I love is makin' music with my friends And I can't wait to get on the road again
Good old Willie captured the spirit that filled our Prius as we drove away from Windsor Park on April 15, and headed for Penn State University, one of our very favorite haunts.

Our Heart Scene Journey has taken us to many places. None was more enjoyable than our visit to the 26th annual Smoker at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Pittston, PA.
Twenty-four years ago, I taught a seminarian named Gregory Finn. He was a serious minded student from Albany, New York, who, at the tender age of 17, made a decision to enter the priesthood.
Recently, I had a reunion with Fr. Greg Finn, OSJ, at the annual Smoker at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Pittston. What an incredible moment it was.
