It’s been a week of pleasant surprises here in Windsor Park. It all began with a whirlwind trip to State College, PA, where we rendezvoused with Bill Coleman and his family. The capstone of our visit with Bill was a three-hour dinner at the Nittany Lion Inn. We laughed, we learned, and we experienced a feeling of community that was nothing short of heartwarming.

The weather outside was cold, damp and dreadful, but inside it was like a second Christmas morning. Good food, good conversation and good fellowship.

Wegmans Featured in First Good News Segment

It’s January and even though the weather has been unseasonably warm, we all know it’s winter, and we’re looking for something to cheer us up. Well, this week’s Windsor Park Stories is all about good news, good events, good gardening and good people.

In our first Good News segment we bring our viewers up to date on the good news about one of our most popular grocery stores in northeastern and central Pennsylvania. It has made Fortune Magazine's list of The Best Places To Work In America for the tenth straight year.

Tiesha and Richard's Big Day

Tiesha Feimster was one of the finest students Kitch and I had the privilege of teaching.

She was interesting, curious, industrious, well mannered, pleasant and a person of great dignity and class.

She came to college to become an anchor and she left college a talented producer. Over the years we have stayed in touch, and it has been our great joy to watch her bloom and grow professionally.

Christmas is being celebrated in a special way in the Memorial Water Garden in Windsor Park.

Let us remember that the Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide open heart that thinks of others first.

A nine year old white pine stands ten feet above the water pond. It is surrounded by 40 angels who are decked out in red ribbons for the holiday season.
